We have not left October yet, even though college makes it feels it just started, however, that means another Blogtober themed post! We are adventuring through my fall decorations in my room today! But first, this past week I introduced something I have never done before! On my Instagram, I encouraged my followers to subscribe to be entered into a giveaway for a Starbucks gift card!! I am so incredibly thankful everyone who participated in this and I’m excited to do another one! (Soon?… Maybe ; ) !!)

Blogtober means Spooky Season 🦇

This fall I have made an effort to make my apartment my home. That “at home” feeling brings me so much peace and comfort when things are hectic in college, it makes things just a little bit easier. Also, I’m going to be here for a couple more years so I wanted it to be a place I could call my own! I didn’t spend much money on decorations. To be honest, I gathered most of my decorations from outside. Lol, I picked up dead or broken branches and used them as fall decoration pieces! I love doing this because it’s real and it’s personable. I’m biiig into arts & crafts so I love seeing how I can let my creativity work through random pieces! Usually, I am constantly adding and changing things around so this wall may look completely different two days from now. But hey, change is good! Also, it’s refreshing to take a break from college work and have some fun. Before I decided I was too broke to buy decorations, I found some supperrr cute decorations from hobby lobby! I’ve made a Pinterest board with all the goods that I’ll link here!

Transparency and being open…

This week’s post had bigger plans, however, I have an exam coming up soon that I think needs to take priority over a new post. : ( College is busy and crazy and I’m a big believer in not coming off as something you’re not. I am not superhuman and honestly y’all, I’ve been struggling with focus this past week. Nonetheless, I’m excited for next week’s post because we have another “So far in College” post coming up! I love y’all and I’m beyond thankful for the support I’ve received from my readers! If you didn’t read last week’s post with tips for loving yourself through the rest of this year, check it out!
